Short version: VybeScript is a dictation app for real estate agents who work on a Mac. Press a hotkey, say what you’d say to a client, and clean text appears in your email, CRM or listing form. It knows terms like MLS, HELOC and 1031 exchange, works in English and Spanish, and keeps client details on your Mac.
At a glance
- Works in: any app where you type: Mail, Outlook, Gmail in your browser, your CRM, MLS listing forms, Google Docs, Word, web chat.
- Real estate terms, spelled right: a free word pack with 38 entries, from MLS and HOA to Fannie Mae, dotloop and kvCORE.
- Bilingual: dictate in English or Spanish, and use the app itself in either language.
- Private: recording, transcription and AI cleanup happen on your Mac. No account, no cloud.
- Rewrite styles: Clean, Polish and Formal use Apple Intelligence, so they need macOS 26 with it turned on. Transcription works on any Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 14 or later.
- Price: $99 once per agent, $39 a year, or a $349 Team Pack for five people.
What agents dictate with VybeScript
Real estate is a talking business that runs on writing: every showing, call and offer ends in an email, a text or a note somebody has to type. Voice to text lets you get it down in the time it takes to say it.
- Listing descriptions. Walk through the property out loud, room by room, then switch to the Polish style to tighten it into copy you can paste into the listing.
- Client follow-up emails and texts. Say it the way you would on the phone. Clean removes the “um”s and false starts; Formal turns it into a clear, professional message for a lender, attorney or seller.
- Showing notes. Back in the car after a showing, dictate what the buyers loved and what bothered them while it’s fresh. A spoken list becomes bullets in Polish and Formal.
- CRM notes. Dictate straight into the notes field of your CRM, such as Follow Up Boss or kvCORE, instead of leaving it for the end of the day.
- Offer and transaction recaps. Summarize where a deal stands (contingencies, earnest money, appraisal gap, closing date) in a few sentences for your team or client.
Real estate vocabulary out of the box
General dictation writes acronyms and brand names the way they sound. Import the free real estate word pack and VybeScript corrects them automatically:
| What dictation hears | What VybeScript writes |
|---|---|
| m l s | MLS |
| he lock | HELOC |
| ten thirty one exchange | 1031 exchange |
| fanny may | Fannie Mae |
| hud one | HUD-1 |
| dot loop | dotloop |
| matter port | Matterport |
| zillo | Zillow |
The pack also includes terms like FIRPTA, cap rate, estoppel letter, homestead exemption, seller concessions and lis pendens. VybeScript holds up to 100 words, so there’s room left for your own street names, neighborhoods, clients and brokerage. If a term keeps coming out wrong, email it to us and you’ll get a fix within 48 hours.
Bilingual agents: English and Spanish
If you work with buyers and sellers in both languages, as many agents in Miami do, VybeScript handles both. You choose the dictation language before you record, so you can write a Spanish email to one client and an English one to the next. The app’s interface can be in English or Spanish, independently of what you dictate.
A free Spanish/Miami word pack fixes local names that English speech engines tend to mangle: “brick el” becomes Brickell, “hi a leah” becomes Hialeah, “key biscane” becomes Key Biscayne, “wine wood” becomes Wynwood, and names get their accents back, like José and Rodríguez. More on this on our bilingual dictation page.
Client details stay on your Mac
Agents handle a lot of personal information: names, addresses, finances, family situations. Many cloud dictation apps send your recording to a server to transcribe it. VybeScript doesn’t. Recording, transcription and AI cleanup all happen on your Mac, there’s no account, and the app doesn’t read your screen. It even works with the Wi-Fi off. The only connections it makes are license activation, update checks and a one-time speech-model download.
We back that with money: if you ever catch VybeScript sending your audio or transcripts off your Mac, you get a full refund, at any time.
VybeScript is a writing tool, not legal or compliance advice. Your brokerage’s own policies still apply.
For brokerages and teams: the Team Pack
$349 once covers five people (up to 15 Macs), every future update, a custom vocabulary pack we build for your team (your agents, neighborhoods, developments and brokerage name), and a 30-minute onboarding call with the founder. Vocabulary lists can also be exported and imported, so everyone on the team writes the same names the same way. See pricing.
When another option is better
- You do most of your work on your phone. VybeScript is Mac-only. If you need dictation on iPhone or Android between showings, a cross-platform app or your phone’s built-in dictation will serve you better.
- You switch languages mid-sentence. You pick English or Spanish before each recording. Each recording is transcribed in one language, so a sentence that mixes both won’t come out as cleanly.
- Your Mac has an Intel processor. VybeScript needs Apple Silicon (M1 or later).
- Your Mac can’t run Apple Intelligence. Transcription is just as accurate, but the Clean, Polish and Formal styles fall back to basic filler removal. If that’s a deal-breaker, you get a refund within 30 days.
Questions
F6 (or hold Control), and describe the property. The Polish style tightens your spoken description into readable copy while keeping your words. Always review it before publishing.
