How does the Team Pack work?
Short answer
The Team Pack is a single license key for up to 5 people on up to 15 Macs in total. It is a one-time purchase and unlocks the same full app as the other plans. Prices are on the pricing page.
Details
- One key for the team. Share the key with the people on your team, up to 5. Each person enters it in License… and clicks Activate.
- Mac count. Once the app has checked your license online, the License window shows how many of the 15 Macs are in use, for example "Active on 3 of 15 Macs", and labels the plan "Team license — active". Offline, it can show "Lifetime license — active" instead.
- Freeing a Mac. When someone leaves or changes computers, they open License… and click Deactivate this Mac. See Move my license to a new Mac.
- Who it covers. The key is for the purchasing team only. Please do not share it beyond your 5 people or past the Mac limit.
- Extras. The Team Pack also includes a custom vocabulary pack built for your team and a 15-minute onboarding call with the founder. Right now we set these up by email after your purchase.
