How do I activate my license key?
Quick fix
Open the License window, paste your key into the field, and click Activate. Your key is sent by email right after checkout; check spam if it hasn't arrived in a few minutes. Copy the whole key exactly as it appears in the email. A license key looks like 2f6c91e0-7a4b-4d3e-b8a1-5c0d9e3f7a12 (an example, not a real key): 36 letters and numbers in five groups joined by dashes.
Step by step
- Find the email from Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor) with your license key. Trial keys arrive by email too.
- Click the VybeScript icon in the menu bar and choose License….
- In the field under Already purchased? Enter your license key, paste the key. You can also type it, then press Return.
- Click Activate.
- Wait a moment. The window changes to show your plan, for example "Lifetime license — active", and how many Macs the key is active on, for example "Active on 1 of 3 Macs".
Activation needs an internet connection. After that, VybeScript keeps working offline for up to 14 days before it needs to check in again.
